Last Thursday, we interviewed a total of 150 students. 70% of them said that they liked going out with friends more than anything else. (18) I had expected them to say playing sports or listening to music. Next on the list — and I wasn’t surprised at all by this — was watching TV. Most students spent 15 hours a week doing that. Going to the movies was pretty popular, too, and so was watching sports, but something that surprised me was that some students considered shopping to be entertainment. (19) So, what don’t students like doing? Well, although quite a lot of them like acting and many belong to the drama club, going to the theater was not very popular at all. In fact, it was at the bottom of the list! (20) Why? It could be because a lot of students simply don’t have the money to buy the tickets.
