The purpose of this course is to introduce students how to program using C programming language, including problem analysis, program planning and developing. Required Text: ? All required text materials, reading assignments (if any), class lectures, and assignments will be sources for examination questions. Assignments: Five assignments will be given during the semester. Assignments will be distributed in class. You will be given sufficient time to plete all the assignments. You can discuss with your learning partner for the logic of programming. However, all assignments must be of individual effort. Students who plagiarize or are plagiarized will be punished and result in a grade of zero for that examination or assignment. If you encounter any difficulty when doing your assignments, please consult it with the teaching assistant or the instructor during the office hours. All assignments will be collected through elearning platform on the date they are due. ? Elearning Platform URL: 2 Participation: A learning partner policy is introduced in this course. Two students are grouped as the learning partnership. Students are encouraged to sit with their learning partner side by side and help each other to solve the exercise delivered in class. Students are also strongly encouraged to participate in class discussions. Levels of participation will be evaluated based on each student’s contribution to lectures and class discussions, not just on class attendance.
