With the continuous expansion of power network and puter monitoring and control technology, the rapid development of fieldbusbased control system will widely used in power system substations. CAN field bus the thesis based on research it in the substation automation system theory and practical methods of measurement and control network for the shortings of traditional design of a CAN bus is posed by the Fieldbus control network, and discussed in detail the CAN bus technology and its implications for substation automation system.
