最后，再以一個真實的故事結(jié)束我的演講：有一位在馬來西亞奮斗一生的老華僑，如今，榮歸故里，看到祖國發(fā)生了翻天覆地的變化，心里高興極了，決定要為祖國做點兒什么，于是聯(lián)系了幾所高校的校長，要來了學(xué)習(xí)成績優(yōu)秀、品德優(yōu)良，家境貧困的一些大學(xué)生的聯(lián)系地址，老華僑買了很多書籍，分別寄給了這些大學(xué)生，過了一段時間沒有音信，老華僑焦急地等待著，心里很郁悶，就在感恩節(jié)那天，老華僑興奮得像個孩子似的，“有回信了，真有回信了”，信中這樣寫道：“珍惜才能擁有，感恩才能天長地久，我會加倍地努力學(xué)習(xí)，將來更好地回報社會”！又過了一段時間，也就是在圣誕節(jié)的前夕，又收到了一封賀卡，上面說：“謝謝您送給我的書，雖然我不認(rèn)識您，但我會永遠(yuǎn)記著您”！老華僑激動地對家人說：“他們就是我要捐助的人,我還要繼續(xù)尋找”！
