These mechanism plement and promote each other to improve the development of the ChinaASEAN Free Trade Area and better serve the interests of China and the ten ASEAN countries and consequently achieve mon development and prosperity for us. Passage 4 None of this had even a hope of any practical application in my life. But ten years later, when we were designing the first Macintosh puter, it all came back to me. And we designed it all into the Mac. It was the first puter with beautiful typography. If I had never dropped in on that single course in college, the ―Mac‖ would have never had multiple typefaces or proportionally spaced fonts. And since Windows just copied the Mac, it’s likely that no personal puter would have them. If I had never dropped out, I would have never dropped in on that calligraphy class, and personal puters might not have the wonderful typography that they do. None of this had even a hope of any practical application in my life. But ten years later, when we were designing the first Macintosh puter, it all came back to me. If I had never dropped in on that single course in college, the ―Mac‖ would have never had multiple typefaces(字體 )or proportionally spaced fonts. 我從未希望過學(xué)這些東西能在我生活中起些什么實(shí)際作用，不過十年后，當(dāng)我在設(shè)計(jì)第一臺(tái) Macintosh電腦時(shí)，我想起了當(dāng)時(shí)所學(xué)的東西，所以把這些東西都設(shè)計(jì)進(jìn)了 Macintosh里，這是第一臺(tái)能印刷出漂亮字體的計(jì)算機(jī)。當(dāng)然，當(dāng)我還在大學(xué)里時(shí)，不可能把這些點(diǎn)點(diǎn)滴滴預(yù)先串連在一起，但在十年后的今天回顧，一切就顯得非常清楚。我覺得呢在很多方面是，對(duì)我們是有很大 …… 很多的借鑒的。另外呢，剛才這個(gè)，Mr. Julius Sen，他介紹了這個(gè)印度的一些經(jīng)驗(yàn)。所以非常相似。人生不帶來、死不帶去，沒理由不能順心而為。最后一層意思中，把介詞短語“ under the guiding of”轉(zhuǎn)換成主謂結(jié)構(gòu)“指導(dǎo)原則是”。因此，譯員常常發(fā)現(xiàn)使用順句驅(qū)動(dòng)將句子主干部分譯出后，又出現(xiàn)壯語等附加成分的情況。根據(jù)常理，譯員能推知“資產(chǎn) (assets)‖ 和“品牌(brands)‖ 是企業(yè)本來就擁有的，不需要政府去“敦促”，所以兩詞后面肯定有定語修飾；且這是兩個(gè)簡(jiǎn)單的詞，在記憶中暫留也不會(huì)帶來很大負(fù)擔(dān)，因此可以等待后面的定語出來后再翻譯。在聽到“我代表”是就應(yīng)該能預(yù)測(cè)到發(fā)言人先要?dú)g迎來賓，因此，可以直接譯出 “I would like to extend my warm wele to …” ，在聽到主辦單位或贊助、協(xié)調(diào)單位（“廣西壯族自治區(qū)”）時(shí)，應(yīng)該能反應(yīng)出這是在表示感謝 “my sincere gratitude to …” 。除了句法、語法上的 “重組”外，還包括解釋在目的語中不存在的概念；適當(dāng)刪減源語中累贅的信息或表達(dá)；靈活地運(yùn)用目的語中的詞匯和表達(dá)，而不拘泥于字對(duì)字的死譯等?！昂侠砗?jiǎn)約”是同聲傳譯中必要的手段。 分析：考慮到聽眾以青少年為主，譯員在翻譯時(shí)保留源語的大意同時(shí)省略掉了一些專業(yè)術(shù)語，如外貿(mào)術(shù)語“ CIF price (成本、保險(xiǎn)費(fèi)、運(yùn)費(fèi)）”簡(jiǎn)化成“價(jià)格”，將機(jī)構(gòu) ”Common Market Organization”和 ”tariff duty” 省略不譯，避免聽眾因欠缺背景知識(shí)而產(chǎn)生困惑。評(píng)判口譯的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)應(yīng)是是否保持源文與譯文在信息的質(zhì)與量上的對(duì)等。這樣譯，從信息的角度來說做到了“對(duì)等”，只是在修辭方面有所欠缺。正是由于這一套非常嚴(yán)格的監(jiān)控體系，英國(guó)在英語的培 …… 培訓(xùn)上面呢，是享有 …… 在世界上享有最高的聲譽(yù)。我很高興，看到中印兩國(guó)代表非常積極主動(dòng)的響應(yīng)，共同參加這個(gè)盛會(huì)。 PPRD Tourism Promotion Convention‖.
