iseases that threaten human health. But the discovery means of cardiovascular diseases mainly depends on electro cardiac signal (ECG signal) now. Therefore, acquisition of ECG information continuously, accurately and real time can provide a significant basis for the clinical diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases. This paper first analyses the properties of ECG signal. The ECG signal is the weak signal. The amplitude of the ECG signal is from10uV to 5mV ,The frequency changes to 250Hz .The ECG signal is inundated with 50 electric frequency signal. The amplifying quality of ECG signal directly influences the function of the instrument and the diagnosis of the heart diseases. The full attention is paid to the properties of ECG signal and an ECG signal amplifying circuit is designed in this paper. A differential amplifier circuit is designed in the front end to extract highquality ECG. The signal conditioning circuit is designed in the middle part of the system to filtering, noise reduction and shaping and use Multisim to simulator relevant circuit, the result of Simulator shows that the function of amplifying circuit and filter are very well and it can acplish the task of the ECG signal amplifying well. At the end of the system , 51 microcontroller as the main chip to count and display the heart rate.
