IIIABSTRACT In the world，It is well known that the science is very important to economy development．In order to stimulate the economy development，every country have used many means to improve their own science level．Despite there are many means，but on the whole，these belong to two types，one is by their own power，the other is by foreign power． As to our country，because of many reasons such as history，policy etc，pared with the some developed countries，our country’s science foundation is still weak，science level is not high，so we should enhance ‘by the foreign power’technology import．On the other hand，because of open policy，transformation of the economy system，especially the entry of the WTO， all these have made the great inflow of FDI，it bring not only the capital，but also the technology，most important is that it have caused the great changes of the mode of the technology import， Changing from the governmentoriented to the marketoriented，from the active import of technology to the positive import of technology，all these changes show that at present the major mode of the technology import is FDImode，that is what we want to write about． This article has five chapters． In the first chapter，we write about the mode of the technology import，and get a conclusion through the quantitative analysis that at present the major mode of the technology import is FDImode． In the second chapter，we write about FDImode through its definition，sort，function，characteristics，working principle，working mode， and some factors that have some influence to the FDImode． In the third chapter，we write about the macroeffect of the FDImode by the quantitative analysis，and we reflect it through three aspects，the first is its connection with the economy growth，the second is its
