Thedevelopment of modern control theory makes the control of energy storage device easierand more flexible and the application field of energy storage device bees more widely.In this paper, the ways, functions and feasibility of energy storage devices applied inmicrogrid are studied. Firstly, this paper studies the principle and structures of microgrid and summarizestechnical requirements of each part of a microgrid and expounds the significance ofmicrogrid in solving the existing problems of power system. This paper also analyzes theimportantance of energy storage technology in microgrid, and gaves a detailed descriptionof energy storage device applied in microgrid. The present development of energy storagetechnology is introduced and the advantages and disadvantages of various energy storagetechnologies are pared.Secondly, this paper studies the principles and structures of energy storage technologyand sets up unified models of energy storage system based on paring the monpoints of different energy storage devices. This paper studies the applications and feasibilityfor an energy storage system to be used in microgrids as micro power sources and energystorage devices, and gaves the application patterns of energy storage system used inmicrogrid and achieves a conclusion that there is no problem for an energy storage systemto be used in microgrid. This paper designs the correspongding control system and studiescapacity selection of energy storage system in microgrid and matching between differentenergy storage devices.II華 中 科 技 大 學(xué) 碩 士 學(xué) 位 論 文 Finally, taking SMES as an example, the energy storage system applied particularly inmicrogrid is tested by digital simulation in the environment of MATLAB/Simulink. Thispaper tests the properties of superconducting tapes and studies the properties of SMES andbuilds the SMES models and control systems. This paper studies how SMES can improve the voltage at the load terminal and how SMES can inhibit power oscillations in Microgrid by digital simulation.
