The body of the vehicle design and production is the key, and to a large extend, it determines the development cycle and cost. And panel die development is the key point of the body of the vehicle design. As we all know, with the rapid development of automobile industry, traditional mold design method has been unable to adapt to the intense production market petition requires of the car body, we need to improve the level of body panel stamping and mold design urgently and quickly to expect to seek survival and development in the fierce global petition. Currently,the effect of using simulation software on vehicle covering stamping simulation has bee much more obvious and the status of 3D design of penal die has been of these are effective measures and reveal good trend for manufacturing ideal automotive covering parts more economical and more quickly. Based on the introduction of automobile covering and its tool design manufacturing both at home and abroad and the application of the puter simulation technology in the process of the covering, this paper details the forming characteristics of the automobile triangular window mounting panel,using Dynaform simulation software in the forming process of the mounting penal to set a model and simulate, analysis the forming defects, improve the molding conditions, thus obtain the reasonable parameters and confirms the mold design process, designs the mold of the given car door panels, then uses the UG software to draw the mold of the door, making triangular window mounting panel forming more economical, faster, better in society.
